Prepare for EMP (electromagnetic pusle) blackout! And mass invasion
Please make your faraday cage for your electronic devices now if you haven't already done so. Scroll down for details of simple instructions.
- Have an evacuation plan of where to meet up with loved ones
- Have food supply for at least 2 weeks to 2 months, start saving food now (realistically) and don't forget your pets
- Stock up with lots of water and have your bathtub filled with water. You can also buy jerry cans (fuel tanks) to put your water into
- Withdraw your cash and keep in a safe place
- Find others online and make sure they are still contactable if any websites or channels get pulled off the internet
- Have another form of contact available if the internet and phone lines are not available, or a plan to meet somewhere in this event. Consider UHF radio etc
A Faraday cage or Faraday shield is an enclosure formed by conductive material or by a mesh of such material. Such an enclosure blocks external static and non-static electric fields by channeling electricity along and around, but not through, the mesh, providing constant voltage on all sides of the enclosure.
Simple home made faraday cage.
In order to enclose the equipment in a nested faraday cage, place the foil-covered device in a plastic bag, such as a freezer bag, and wrap that bag completely in aluminium foil. If you really want to protect the equipment against a large EMP, add another layer of plastic and foil. You can put it in a tin bin after that (but of course keep the bin don't throw it away on bin day). Don't forget your phone and all the cords just in case. Also look it up if you're not sure. I have hardly enough money for this prepping and no land for veges what can I do? Also scroll down to the Things that may become very valuable list!
People will want food and water. Buy canned stuff and staples like rice, noodles like crazy. If you aren't in need you won't be out there in danger.
Healthy easy growing which can be potted plants that are healthy and sustainable:
Make sure you grow or have access to these basic medicinal foods:
Garlic
Ginger
Lemon tree
Onions
Aloe Vera (an antibacterial plant that you can eat or use on skin or even for ear infections). Look up benefits.
Also, think about whether you can help that person by keeping and propagating the same thing. That way you can ease their burden of supplying it to others.
Why: Sore throat remedy: spoon full of honey + 1/4 of squeezed lemon in a cup of plain tea (no milk)
Cold/ flu remedy: Pour honey over a whole onion in a bowl and cover it overnight. The next morning eat the honey and throw the onion away.
Urinary tract infection: Did you know that this bacteria thrives when your body temperature is lower than it should be? Cover your feet with socks and shoes and if you need to, wear a long sleeve shirt or jacket. If this doesn't get rid of it you'll have to take the ural sachets or if its really bad, antibiotics. You can also look up how to use baking soda as a substitute to the sachets as the alkaline quality of this powder will neutralise the acidity in your urine. Headache: Did you know that some people have a headache because they are dehydrated?Or that they are exposed to hot weather and cold air conditioner in the same day? Increase your water intake. In the event of a migraine you may place a teaspoon of sugar under your tongue, do not swallow it all right away, and let it dissolve slowly. (It worked for me).
If you have any incurable diseases or bacterial imbalances or virus', I recommend that you take an interest in curing yourself now because your medicine may not be available. Yep! You read that right. Please take the time to learn about Dr Sebi and the way he cured every disease you can think of including aids, herpes etc. You can also buy his book called 'Alkaline Herbal Medicine'. He believes there is only one illness to do with the build up of mucus in an acidic environment (the body) which can be cured.
Things that may become very valuable and you can possibly barter with:
But since it's really late, please just go and get a whole heap of canned and packaged food and shelf milk and store a whole heap of water in large containers that have a lid. If you are worried about having a bath, all you need is a basin of water and a soft (maybe fingernail) scrubbing brush, that way you don't need to use soap - weird? You can still be clean from a tiny bit of water. Worried about Laundry? Clean your clothes at the same time as bathing-I'd clean my clothes first. Remember you have to save a lot of water for drinking.

- Store water that you need for everything for 3 days or more and invest in a reverse osmosis device or distilling device or make one yourself. Just google. You can distill grey water and use it again... Yes! It is scientifically true. Passive Solar Water distillation is low cost and you can make it yourself. Please remember that water evaporates so you want to keep it in a sealed container.
- Do you live around coconut or coolou trees? Then this is good news because you have readily available sterile drinking water plus vitamins and minerals. Otherwise you should locate a water source near you or move to one.
- Start rain harvesting. Don't let water from the rain and storms just run off and be wasted. Clean out your roof gutters and redirect your down pipe to enable water collection.
- Do you live near the sea? This is good news. Yes you can turn that sea water into drinking water from a simple home made contraption that you can distill it with. If you put it in a glass oven dish or the like and wait 3-5 hours all the salt will be settled to the bottom. That's one easy way. Look up simple low cost distillation of water.
- If you also live near the sea and are worried about not being able to flush your toilet. Collect the sea water and pour it directly down the toilet. Yes! All your toilet needs to flush is downward flowing water. It works via water pressure so if you have no water you just need to dump water down your toilet.
- Do you have a swimming pool? Good you can use this for toilet flushing and the distilling process to drink.
- Otherwise you will have to dig a really big hole and cover it up with a plastic lid or something. (Do you know that in the old days they had people called the night soil man?)
- Worried that you have no toiletries for personal care? Like soap, deodorant and other products. Other alternatives are scrubbing brush, lemon juice, etc. Look it up.
I have hardly enough money for this prepping and no land for veges what can I do? Also scroll down to the Things that may become very valuable list!
- Seeds are reasonably inexpensive. Plan what you want to grow as meals. I know some of you are proud of your herb and flower gardens but you can't make a meal out of it. If they are not available locally, they are available online at ebay for very low prices.
- Did you know that you can grow rice in a bucket? And live off of it? Look it up. Also buckets are reasonably inexpensive. You can grow vegetables in buckets or pots too and have them in your small living space. Make sure they have access to a light source if no sunlight can come through
- Search the tip or rubbish dump. I know this sounds like a thing you wouldn't ordinarily do but some tips have a shop which they resell perfectly fine things recovered from rubbish from other people at reasonable prices. You may be able to get kegs or other containers to store water in.
- Its pretty sickening to look around where you live to see how much perfectly good land that goes to waste that would otherwise be good for growing food. You can approach these people offer food gardening services for future access to foods.
- Start getting to know people locally and organise to barter essentials with them before hand so that in event of a shut down you can rest assured. Please use discretion when planning to approach people.
- Buy cans of meat, vegetables, toilet paper and find out how you can have access to vegetables. If you can't barter goods think of what you can do to help.
- Remember you may not have access to a working fridge. Focus on what you can store in your pantry only.
People will want food and water. Buy canned stuff and staples like rice, noodles like crazy. If you aren't in need you won't be out there in danger.

Things that may become very valuable and you can possibly barter with:
- Water. Don't just store water, learn how to keep and recycle as much as you can to re-use it through reverse osmosis or distilling techniques. If you can find a way to barter water then you will be otay!
- Honey. Whenever you can get those really big tubs of honey, get it. If you can locate someone locally who sells it, then this would be a big plus for you. You may also consider approaching a local bee keeper to start off your own hive. Honey bees are endangered now and you will be helping them if you are willing to take care of them. Make sure your bees have access to lots of nectar rich flowers! You don't want them flying for kilometres and eventually starving themselves and their hive.
- Toilet paper. Buy in bulk.
- Meat. Buy lots of canned meat.
- Toiletries. Save up all different types of deodorants for girls and boys. It may become a luxury item.
- Butter. I think a lot of people are going to miss eating butter. Better yet, you don't need to keep it in the fridge. Store in a cool dry place.
- Food Oil. Buy in bulk, as in the really big bottles of it.
- Packets of razors.
- Candles and tealights. Alternatively, you may inexpensively make little vessels to burn oil in. These oil burners last for ages! Look up how to make them out of clay. Or you can use a cup or something made of crochery. Yes you can burn cooking oil like a candle! Fill a small crockery cup or vessel with cooking oil and get a piece of tissue and roll it between your fingers until it resembles a wick. Place this into the oil and make sure all the tissue is soaked with the oil and then light it. If you start your bee hive you can use the wax to make candles with. Yes bees hives produces wax.

'How will I survive?'
You need: a pen, paper and your thinking cap.
Consider the possibility of a natural disaster, no electricity, no water, currency devaluation, safety and food. Learn from those who have already been hit by natural disaster. In the event of a natural disaster the uniform thing to do is evacuate and be displaced to somewhere else. Already in several countries the currency has been completely devalued, food availability has become rationed and/or unavailable and people have not been able to obtain their medication for life threatening diseases. How will you survive? Please watch the following video and if you can, please read the comments as well, then come back and read the rest of this.

From the above video you can understand why preppers everywhere are trying to reach out to others. Let's consider that you live in a place which has not yet been hit by a natural disaster. Realistically, major crops around the world are failing and natural disasters are increasing. Here are some ideas to pinpoint the problem that you are in. This is your own personal list and don't give it to anyone.
Have you got your pen and paper ready? Make a list of the following:
Now you have a realistic view of your consumption in your life. Here are more things to consider:
Make a distinction here between safety, food, water, shelter and necessities AND money, job security, personal interests.
If you are planning to prep or are prepping, then you have chosen to make a wise investment. As you may or may not have heard, there are those who are orchestrating all of this to occur and you are basically on your own unless you are networking with people who are actually networking for the purpose of preparing/prepping. Now that you are clear about some things, study your answers over the next couple of days. You should also write down anything that comes to mind straight away before you forget. Don't be on your own! Also consider that the government is very temperamental these days and could unexpectedly pull out all the stop signs on your prepping efforts if they haven't already done so. I know that it is hard to trust people. At the end of the day weopons are expensive, but this page has inexpensive ways to keep yourself alive. Work things out with who you can trust. Good Luck with your prepping!
Have you got your pen and paper ready? Make a list of the following:
- A complete list of what I use electricity for in the home
- A complete list of what I use water for in the home
- (optional) What is my complete and accurate budget meaning everything I spend money on. (Don't feel bad about this its just a review of yourself to yourself)
- How safe would I feel if the above listed were not available?
- What would I do if I didn't have the above?
- What would I do if I had have known that the above were not going to be available?
Now you have a realistic view of your consumption in your life. Here are more things to consider:
- Do I have a trustworthy network of people in my life? That is, everyone that I see on a regular basis whether it is personal or business or other. (Option is you can write why that is or you do not have to write why that is but be honest with yourself).
- Who out of your network of people regularly give or take from you or is neutral? (As in taking physically or giving physically regardless of how you feel about them)
- From your perspective is the town, city or other area that you live in able to support itself autonomously or do you consider it sold out to public sectors? By autonomously I mean that if the currency is completely devalued, they shut off the electric grid, water and import/export of everything including food and necessities are not available, could your town survive on its own with the resources that are currently available in it? Consider what the main industry where you live is and why people move there or move away based on what you heard and your own experience.
- In your opinion, is the answer to the last question based on safety, food, water, shelter and necessities and NOT money, jobs or their personal interests. Yes or No?
Make a distinction here between safety, food, water, shelter and necessities AND money, job security, personal interests.
